Thanks to everyone who sent me birthday wishes on Tuesday. I had a nice day which involved intermittent chocolate cheesecake. I decided not to do anything in particular to celebrate this year since I still haven't entirely recovered from celebrating my last two birthdays on climbing trips. ( Note to self )

I went to a lovely wedding at the weekend. You may remember my dress dilemma. At the last minute I discovered that they had run out my size in one of the previous choices and the second choice was almost the same colour as the bridesmaids dress. My Green & Blacks Maya Gold Easter Egg smells like Marmite. This is a very bad thing. I am hoping that this is just a side effect of my cold and not a change of recipe. I've been very sleepy all day, but that is what happens when I actually go to bed and then wake up at a sensible time. I actually managed to be productive at work today which is very unusual at the moment.

Random clicking on links from the spnnewsletter was unusually successful at lunchtime. I was intrigued by the title of this fic.

Today was a good day. I managed to wake up early and it only took about 20 minutes and a single phone call to sort out the problems with my museum pass. Now I can actually get in and out of my own department. Even after it was done I kept worrying that it wouldn't work and repeatedly tested it every time I left the office ( Read more... )
